Graduated from BYU Law School in 1991 and started his career with Royal Dutch Shell PLC. He lived and worked in the UK, Holland, Japan, Singapore, Canada and the US where he served as General Counsel to Shell Oil Company and most recently as Executive VP and General Counsel to Shell International in The Hague. He is married to Sandra and has four children. He retired from Shell and relocated to St George in 2022.
