Abe Candelaria is a Southern California native who currently resides in Gilbert Arizona. He attended Dixie State University from 2007-2010 where he graduated with a business degree from the Udvar-Hazy School of Business while also playing baseball for Mike Littlewood and the Trailblazers. He is currently Vice President of Global Risk & Compliance for Bank of America where he is able to apply the fundamental skills he gained from his time at Dixie to assist in managing the bank’s regulatory framework across multiple organizations.
Abe and his wife Shannyn, who also attended Dixie State University, have two daughters: Layci Jean (5) and Kamryn Lynn (2 months). In conjunction with his role for Bank of America, Abe and Shannyn also own and operate Candelaria Insurance Solutions serving clients in the Southwestern region of the United States.
Abe attributes a lot of his success to the experience he gained as a business major at DSU. While attending DSU, he had great mentors within the faculty which allowed him to sharpen his skills and learn to be competitive in Corporate America.
